About the 100 Relics Art Drop Project

The 100 Relics Project began with the simple discovery of an organic hand form in clay during the Spring of 2015.

I was immediately drawn to this organic minimalism. After glazing them I discovered just how endless the possibilities with these could be. The Summer of 2015 is when I decided to make 100 of these forms in varying shapes and sizes, but all conforming to fit my right hand.

Now, these 100 Relics will be fired with a number of various finishes and some may be painted by fellow artists. However long it takes, they will make their way out into the world as free pieces of art.
